We’re a husband-and-wife duo in North County San Diego who will take any excuse to head to the beach. May Gray began with countless overcast mornings and surf sessions at our local breaks, and a simple idea: create something that keeps us connected to the coast—and inspired to protect it.

After years of wearing ripped Padres hats and San Diego tees that had shrunk into kid-sized nightgowns, we felt it was time for something better. Tired of generic souvenirs and scouring thrift stores, we set out to make our own.

With backgrounds in design and photography, we create simple, timeless apparel rooted in the places we love.
